Why did you apply to tutor with GO?

I originally did a year of service at Match High School. I felt very aligned with the community and the work that I accomplished as a math tutor. When the Tutor Lead role opened up for our program, I applied right away!

What was your favorite tutorial moment?

My favorite tutorial moment this year was setting up an Algebra competition for 9th graders, where students had to plot drawings using linear graphs, label their unique slopes, and color them in! One student went above and beyond and made 8+ slopes to create a drawing.

What is your favorite way to connect with the students?

My favorite way to connect with students is by getting to know their interests. I also love swinging by their classes and extracurriculars to see them in action!
