Jasmin Perrier

I generally aim to view service as a recurring investment towards progress. Whether that investment be my time, knowledge, practical or physical abilities, or monetary donations, it is important to me that it contributes to building up others. In my opinion, fostering meaningful relationships, especially with youth, takes time and commitment. I believe that participating in this year-long service opportunity would equip me with the time, resources, and space needed to adequately support and bond with the youth that we aim to serve. Furthermore, on a more personal level, I view this year of full-time service as a unique opportunity to grow in my tutoring and mentoring abilities, which will better enable me to provide psychoeducation within my future role as a Clinical Social Worker.
